Plant a seed

What does it mean to plant a seed? Whether literally or figuratively, this small action is our greatest commitment to our belief in the importance of tomorrow. Because a tiny seed can grow into a magnificent garden and yield a rich harvest year after year.

For children, a seed is magical. Tiny, yet powerful and significant, they recognize themselves in its potential. What a joy it is to plant a seed with a child! Together, carefully prepare the soil, place the seed in it, cover it, and provide all the necessary ingredients: sunshine, warmth, water, love. Add a pinch of optimism and a large dose of patience, and soon the forces of nature will take their course. The act of planting is irrevocable, and once the seed is sown, there is no turning back.

At first, tangible changes are difficult to see. But then finally, a new shoot or leaf appears that wasn't there before. Slowly and steadily, with the passing months and changing seasons, our seeds take firm root. They stretch and grow, gaining strength and confidence; their stems thicken, leaves appear; they blossom and produce fragrant flowers or delicious, ripe fruit. Our garden is thriving.

The visual representation is equally rewarding. Give a child an idea, raw materials, a concept, or a story just enough to captivate them and plant a metaphorical seed.

Soon, like the seed itself, the hunger for more grows within it, and growth is not only inevitable but unstoppable! Use the same ingredients: plenty of sunshine, fresh air, nutrients, and love, and you will be rewarded with the most beautiful garden of all.
